Rugby

Today we had a tough game for rugby and we won 24-40. We vs Vally and I was captian! We need more practise in our tackleing and blowing over the ball when someone gets tackled. Please comment on my posts. See ya.

Citizenship Award

Today I earned the citizenship award and my teacher rote a note and this is what it said:
Mannix has a very full life participating with intense swimming training. Yet he has put in one of the highest times on his IXL maths practice. ( Maths website.) and he is a prolific blogger. He shares lots of exciting things he does, plus make supportive comments on other blogs! He is highly organised in the classroom and very good at tutoring others and he takes full control of himself and his learning.
This is a great achievement for me and i hope to get more. See ya.

Swimming

Swimming

If you want to swim you will need to learn how to. It’s not like breathing witch you learn on your own. You need a lot of help so I’m going to help you.
Freestyle: Freestyle is one of the easiest strokes to master. You keep on your front and push the water and that is one stroke. After you do three stokes you roll to your side take a breath and turn back to your front. kick hard and push hard to get more speed. And is you practise it makes it easier.
Backstroke: from the name you can tell you do it on back. You need to kick or you will sink. You will need to have continuous rotation with arm strokes. Remember to look at the roof.
Breaststroke: Breaststroke is a complicated stroke to master. The most important thing in breaststroke is the kick. Step 1: Legs straight. Step 2: Bend legs. Step 3 Make a v using your feet. Step 4: Slide legs out. Step 5: Snap your legs together. For your arms start streamline and push the water till you get to your neck and the back to streamline.

Butterfly: Butterfly takes a lot of energy out of you. You kick with your feet together and kick hard then with your arms push then down then back to streamline.

Always remember that swimming can save your life.

Writing

Hi guys Today I have learnt for writing the keys is planning. Without a good plan with a lot of detail explaining each paragraph your stories won't be very good or descriptive. So panning is very important and I highly recommend doing it. Please comment and say what you like so far. See ya.

Swimming

Hi guys for the last three days me Charlie and Danny Gilbert have been in Dunedin for a swim meet. I did nine races, Charlie did seven and Danny did five. We had a lot of fun and I appreciate that Neil and Jo Gilbert took the time to look after me. Charlie and Danny set good times for them to beat in upcoming meets, and I was lucky enough to get PBs (Personal Bests) in my races. Please comment and say if you want to know what races I did. See ya.
